Good morning. I need help on how to get started with investing. I have already opened a securities account with E-trade but do not know where to go from there. I love the idea of making $1,000.00 off a $10,000.00 investment. Please tell me how to make the purchases and go forward. I read everything I can about investing but often times find it overwhelming. I need to be a safe investor because I have gotten a late start(age wise) in investing. Can you help me get started.
