About Buy Like Buffett

Buy Like Buffett is an independent educational site about value investing as practiced and explained by Warren Buffett — through sixty years of Berkshire Hathaway shareholder letters, annual meetings, and the Benjamin Graham tradition they grew from.

The premise is simple: the ideas that built the best long-term investing record in history are public, free, and mostly ignored, because they are slow. We think they deserve a clear, plainly written home.

What we publish

Frameworks, not forecasts. Our core content is the 12 Principles — a distillation of Buffett's approach — plus practical guides on applying them: how to read an annual report, how to think about moats and margin of safety, and the temperament mistakes that undo good analysis.

What we deliberately don't do

We do not publish stock picks, price targets, portfolio updates, or anything meant to be acted on directly. We are not investment advisers, and this site is not investment advice. We are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, Warren Buffett, Berkshire Hathaway, or any of their businesses — we are students of the public record.

Editorial rules

Claims about Buffett's views cite the primary record — shareholder letters, meeting transcripts, and interviews — rather than secondhand paraphrase. Worked examples use hypothetical numbers, clearly labeled. When a topic is genuinely contested, we say so.
