The change in a named comparison index or security over the same stated window as the result beside it; price return excludes dividends, while total return includes them.
How this site uses it
The label appears beside the value wherever it is used. Any time window, comparison basis, source period, or observation date belongs with the reading so unlike numbers are not presented as though they were directly comparable.
